Review of Jem and the Holograms (2015) by Corey M — 31 Jul 2016
The music was alright, raised by the voices of the singers. The acting was tolerable. The plot was AWEFUL. I would watch it with the kids. If it had been advertised better and not called Jem and the Holograms, I think it may have been ok in theaters.
That being said, people need to realize Hollywood never sticks to original stories. Plenty of examples of that. Look at the marvel and dc movies. Good movies, good acting, high production quality, follows the comics at a far distance.
