Jem and the Holograms is not only bland, cliche and uninspired but it's downright insulting to the fans of the admittedly cheesy but charming 80s cartoon, the makers manipulate footage of fans of the original show to make it look as if their praising the film but in actuality they're referring to the cartoon.
That is not only lazy but it's downright low and disgusting. This film is a slap in the face on every level.
