Review of JCVD (2008) by Richard B — 05 Jun 2009
This film was alright and it was the second film I've seen with the main actor playing himself. I guess I didn't know that most of the film was filmed in Belguim and a majority of the film has subtitles, which is ok, but was kind of a surprise to me.
JCVD does a great job in the film and his monologue towards the end is fanastic and is definitely the best acting performance he has ever given. The plot is pretty good in the beginning, but it just couldn't maintain the initial good concept the entire length of the film.
Overall a decent film that portarys JCVD in a very different light then we are used to.
