Review of JCVD (2008) by Gareth M — 29 Nov 2009
Random and very very surreal. I'm sure it thinks it clever with its uses of weird philosophy "Egg falls on Stone, Egg Breaks". The story told from different camera angles, same scene played out over and over again, in what is ultimately a anti action film. Dark brooding long winded dialogue within a darkness bleak setting......oh with the most RANDOM soundtrack you will ever hear ?
Bemusingly funny, the bits about Seagal and his pony tail, its just a mental mental film while its something you never seen before, played over something so simple and generic as a bank robbery.
