Review of Jaws 2 (1978) by William G — 19 Apr 2012
While it doesn't compare to the original, it's still not that bad a sequel. Roy Scheider was still great and the shark scenes were pretty thrilling. However I could live without all the screaming teenagers wall to wall, because it can get annoying after a while.
And John Williams compositions, while still great and suspenseful, are a bit loud and more in your face. But still, the action is solid, it has a bit of good suspense and the shark effects aren't too bad.
Again, not as good as the first Jaws, but not a bad flick none the less. I say give it a watch.
