Review of Jason and the Argonauts (1963) by Tor S — 18 Jul 2009
Somewhat static rendition of the classic Greek myth of Jason's quest for the Golden Fleece. But however slow-moving and tableau-esque it may be, this is a true gem, although largely due to maestro Ray Harryhausen's exquisite visual effects.
IMO, the battle of the skeletons may very well be the best scene ever, in any movie!
