Review of Jason and the Argonauts (1963) by Mike T — 14 Jan 2010

A whole lot of fun, but suffering from some very severe dating. Though a marvel in its time, its downright laughable now. Not that I enjoy making fun of old movies, because I'll also point out that it was because of movies like this that all of our modern epics and special effects are where they are today.

It's good to watch for the sake of seeing some seriously impressive effects for the early 60's, and is a enjoyable and entertaining adventure film to boot.
