Review of Jane Eyre (2011) by Hector R — 08 Aug 2013
Engrossing in every possible way. The only thing remotely identifiable as a flaw is a small grammatical slip-up. Fassbender is chilling, Wasikowska plays tender and hardened simultaneously and seamlessly, and Dame Judi Dench is delightful.
The production is phenomenal, and the film in general is never boring or uninteresting. I have yet to read the book, but I loved this cinematic masterpiece.
