Not so fast David Caruso! One year after he abandoned the hit tv series NYPD Blue, Mr. Caruso tried to woo the public with this incredibly mediocre â??sexyâ?? thriller from the writer of Basic Instinct and the director of The French Connection.
That being said, Caruso is a solid lead; I dig his intensity and his â??coldâ?¦asâ?¦iceâ?? stare. Nice supporting turns Chazz Palminteri, Richard Crenna, and a villainously mustached Michael Biehn.
Linda Fiorentino is a bit of a bore thoughâ??itâ??s a by-the-numbers copied performance from the much superior The Last Seduction. Itâ??s not bad. Itâ??s just not that remarkable either.
