Joe Eszterhas has written some well received movies as well as some real stinkers. This one is somewhere in between. The characters are not fleshed out as it relies and sex and nudity to maintain your interest.
Fiorentino is on fire as the main suspect. The story is mildly interesting but not difficult to figure out. The twist is anti-climatic. Director Friedkin holds it all together into a worthwhile endeavor.
