Review of Jade (1995) by Sgt.finaldo S — 28 Jul 2008
Extremely odd film by Friedkin. It has wonderful opening sequence with Rite of Spring playing in the backround. From there on it is mostly downhill. Still this weird thriller has lot more style and ideas than dozens of other.
It definetly does not play it safe, but taking risks does not turn to be all that succesfull this time. The mood it has is still quite captivating.
