Review of Jacob's Ladder (1942) by Michael G — 22 May 2010

I remembered the bathroom scene while watching this and realised i'd seen it when I was a kid and that image of a clutter of people forcing a man into a tub of ice stuck with me for years. I even remember the last time I saw this scene in my head, it wasn't too long ago.. for the longest time, I couldn't place it.

Anyway, this is quite powerful and beautifully made (slight complaints on the ending). all in all I loved it.
