Review of Jack Brooks: Monster Slayer (2007) by Jen J — 11 Oct 2008

Wow. People are a bunch of whiners! What were the film makers thinking taking time to build up the character and a reason for things to happen? It should have just went instantly into mindless monster killing so everyone could then complain there was no plot.

Seriously. Then is a brilliant piece of genre work and if you have to have a pace faster than lightening, quick edits to keep your ADD minds attention then look elsewhere. Leave this movie to people who actually know movies and understand what it was trying to be.

It's also could be an origin story for a series of films. Although with all the complaining for no reason, we may never see a sequel.
