Review of I've Loved You So Long (2008) by Yolande S — 07 Mar 2009
Kristin Scott Thomas plays a woman who has been away from her sister and family for many years. Through the film we find out where she has been, why she was there for so long and just plain why. The performances of KST and many others in the film were excellent, but the explanation towards the end of the film spolit the film for me, by making a nonsense of all that had gone before.
Some films are improved by an improbable ending - this one wasn't. 8/10.
