Review of I've Loved You So Long (2008) by John B — 16 Mar 2013
Excellent film. While I figured out the truth behind Kristen Scott Thomas' situation well before the end, it was a great character study. I found it to be a much grittier look at life in France, since I've found that most Americans have an overly romanticized idea of life there.
I believe that people live similar lives around the world and that it's the language barrier that makes us want more form our existence; people are people, not matter their locale.
