Review of Ivanhoe (1952) by I Don't Know W — 28 Jun 2011
Interesting King Arthur movie, taking place after the crusades while he is being held captive. Although it is a little slow in getting going, once it finally starts moving it stays at a decent pace, and it has good performances from Robert Taylor and Liz Taylor, who just looks stunning.
The scene where they were storming the castle seemed a little silly, but the final fight scene is great and fairly realistic, which helps give a good feeling of authenticity to the film.
