I've watched this musical many times, and have yet to bond with it. It has excellent musical numbers, and you can't fault the stars - each of whom does what they do best - but this is a musical that just simply goes nowhere.

So, an entertaining musical for the songs and musical numbers, but the story/plot are almost non-existent...
