Review of It's a Wonderful Life (1946) by Andrew R — 12 May 2012
I had never seen this film until yesterday a feat which many deemed impossible. "How could you miss this film?" Normally I get frustrated with those comments, but this film was one I deserved it for.
The film really and truly is the greatest christmas film ever made, and yet most of its story does not revolve around christmas. It sets up the character of George Bailey magnificently in the first few acts of the film.
You feel like you know who this character is, and understand who he effects in his lifespan. The film is amazing even if you are in no way religious. IT makes you think inwardly and consider all you've done in your life.
It encourages you to be a better person, and to live a life worthy of remembrance. A man is not a failure as long as he has friends.
