Review of It's a Wonderful Life (1946) by Orwell B — 23 Dec 2017
You know, it's hard not to give this film a 5 star. It's a bit of a slow burn due to the era it came out in, but it's so WELL DONE showing his life and his family, and every step of the way... you really get to know and feel for this man before the angel even pops down. I admit that on subsequent viewings I tend to fast forward through those establishing first parts, but they were still necessary to inform the audience and I can't imagine the film without them.
Just a well crafted and nicely acted film. Illustrating quite well how "wonderful" life can be.
