This is a cute enough modern fairy tale. It's even presented in a similar way to a fairy tale. It doesn't become a *great* film, but Cage is likable (as always). Rosie Perez quickly gets on your nerves, though, but she's supposed to get on your nerves, so I guess she did a good job there.
