Review of It Could Happen to You (1994) by Steve H — 20 Jun 2014
Easily Cage's best film to date. He for once forgoes his tendency to either whisper or scream every line as well as his over-the-top weirdness. Here he isn't some crazy introvert (the weather man) or wannabe badass (any of his action films), in fact I think the lesson here is that sometimes less is more: he just simply plays a really GOOD guy, and it works.
Bridget Fonda is great too, and the whole storyline just has a way of pleasing any viewer who possesses even a shred of a heart. Irresistible.
