Review of It Comes at Night (2017) by Eric L — 16 Jun 2017
With A24, we are getting New Hollywood-quality films in a digital era that require critical thinking and, well, putting the phones away, which is why I feel like people hate this movie.
Plus the marketing want exactly accurate. But, it was an outstanding post-apocalyptic frontier drama, that replaces jump scares with relentless dread, and Reganesque monsters with our human interactions when faced with an invisible enemy.
10/10.
