This a well made, well acted, incredibly disappointing story. Because it is so well made, you'll watch, fully engaged, sincerely hoping it will pay off - but it never does. When a poorly done movie fails, it's a given.
When a well done movie fails to deliver, it's only exceptional in the fact that it's exceptionally disappointing.
