Review of It Comes at Night (2017) by Kim V — 21 Oct 2017
I was really disappointed after I watched this movie. I thought that this would be a monster movie but I didnt see no monters at all. "It comes at night" is a metaphor about fear or nightmares that comes in the night.
I hated this movie but after watching it again I started to like it. Director leaves us lots of questions where the movie doesnt answer. Like what is the virus? or what did the dog bark at? I dont count this movie as a horror film.
It is not scary, but there is one jumoscare in the beginning of the film what was really expected. pros: Great acting from everybody, really interesting plow that leaves you researchig about the movie after you watched it, ending was really heartbreaking and sad.
Cons: Boring and slowly dragging at some points of the movie, too much dream scenes, miss marketing ( Trailers let you know that there is a monter but actually theres not) This is pretty good movie and I recommend to watch this movie to get yout own opinions about this movies plot.
