IT 2017 is a good movie at best, I've never read the book or watch the previous adaption of the story by Stephen King and the story is considered a classic of both Stephen King's work and story telling in general, while I haven't once again read the book or watch the previous adaption on IT I can see that it has a cult following behind it and I mainly saw this movie as a way to cash on the killer clown event from last year, but when I watched this movie I realized it's more than just a way to cash on the killer clowns, especially since this movie was pretty interesting in some moments.

This movie has a good story, interesting characters, great set of cast members, well fitting music, some what interesting CGI (at least I think it's CGI) and oddly in a horror movie some funny jokes.

My downsides to the movie is that well it's a horror movie and it has a bit of comedy in it, I'm guessing it was probably in the book but sometimes the jokes can be just down right dumb for the movie and especially since this IS A HORROR MOVIE! Another downside is that well it wasn't really that scary, most of the time I didn't even get surprised as I also found some parts of the movie to be pretty predictable at points.

But aside from that IT is a pretty good movie and I would say that if you are a fan of the original book or even the previous adaption on the story by Stephen King, but if not than maybe this is a skip for you.

I give IT 2017 a 6.5 out of 10 not really scary a lot of the time but there are some moments that will give you the chills.
