Isle of Dogs is a 2018 stop-motion animated comedy-drama film written, produced and directed by Wes Anderson.
I really enjoyed this movie, in which elements took me back to cartoons from my childhood. The comedy, the gags, and the visual style had me laughing right from the outset. It features some unusual techniques with split screens etc, and these all proved very effective. A surprising delight was also the music, which was played throughout most of the movie, and enhanced the suspense. Overall this was a very different, quirky but entertaining animated movie. D &MC.
