Review of Isle of Dogs (2018) by Nickthecritick — 23 Apr 2022
Japan, 2037. Twelve-year-old Atari Kobayashi goes in search of his beloved dog after an executive decree due to dog flu causes all of Megasaki City's dogs to be exiled to a vast landfill called Trash Island.
Atari sets out alone in his Junior-Turbo Prop and flies across the river in search of his guard dog, Spots. There, with the help of a bunch of new four-legged friends, a path aimed at their liberation begins.
A great animated movie in stop motion.
