If I had to rank Wes Anderson's films from worst to best (or vice versa), I think I would put Isle of Dogs somewhere in the middle. Isle of Dogs is beautifully animated, sweet, and quite charming in execution.
It might be more successful in its world building but that is in no way to dislike the characters. I'd give it a B/B+.
