Review of Irreversible (2002) by Cody Y — 29 Jul 2012
This is a disorienting trip into a gay dungeons and a rape scene that plays the story backwards. By placing the climactic scenes of rape and murder towards the beginning, we get to watch and contemplate on the events that lead up to these horrible acts.
This movie features very graphic and disturbing scenes, and an incredibly uncomfortable rape scene that rivals the likes of 'I Spit on Your Grave'.
