Review of Irreversible (2002) by Andrew J — 24 Sep 2018

I'm really torn up about this movie because on one hand, it's a brutal shocking movie that I didn't expect (in a good way) but on the other hand there were some choices of the director/editor I did not really like.

The chronology was not perfect, which really bothers me as a perfectionist and also some scenes were just too on-the-nose provocative so that the movie lost my interest sometimes. But the performances were good and some shots were really nice.
