Review of Invincible (2013) by Mike H — 10 Jul 2012
Though sometimes a bit cheesy and maybe a little too Disney, Invincible still hits all the right chords an inspirational sports movie should. The first three acts of the film all have some pitch perfect scenes that tug at the old man chords.
That sounded weird. What I mean is, it's okay to cry while watching sports movies. Wahlberg is really believable both as Papale on the street and on the field. You have to respect Wahlberg, he seems to bring his A game for everything.
(Max Payne was un-savable).
