Review of Into the Wild (2007) by Michael B — 05 May 2012
An intense, poignant and poetic film. Manages to take the audience on a roller-coaster of emotions - at first feeling young and liberated, then humbled when reality sets in, and ultimately torn between being sad and elated.
The protagonist lived a life in those 2 years on the road worth a life-time but realized in the end when he is all alone that "Happiness is only real when it is shared".
