I bought this after reading the book. Honestly the movie's much better than the book which is more of a drawn out magazine article relying on autobiographical and unrelated accounts to help fill the book. I don't mean to hate on the book. I still enjoyed it but I'll just say I prefer Sean Penn's film.
Christopher's story amazes me although the first rule of being a Boy Scout is be prepared. He was irresponsible, foolish and young, but smart, fun and brave at the same time. Overall pretty good performances and a great movie.
