Review of Interview with the Vampire (1994) by Bookreviews G — 17 Mar 2013
Many scenes were set deliberately to shock - which was annoying. A subtle influx of evil is far greater than a splash of it. A few hinted scenes of debauchery would have sufficed. Julian Sands would have made a far more convincing Lestat - tall, elegant and refined, however Tom Cruises' performance cannot be criticized - he personifies the evil extremely well.
Brad Pitt's Louis has the right amount of melancholy loneliness and Antonio looks the part of Armand.
