Review of Insidious (2011) by Dylan S — 27 Mar 2014
Insidious is amateurishly-written, bland horror as likely to elicit laughter as it is to elicit screams. Its premise is intriguing but the end result is oh-so-dull. The film's greatest (only?) virtue is its cinematography, which is quite nice, if not especially great.
