Review of Inside Out (2015) by Spencer K — 07 Mar 2016

I can't tell you enough how much I loved Inside Out. a pioneering feat of the animated film world, and one of the finest examples of ground breaking animation is oh so on display here in every frame of Inside Out.

it's inventive, incredibly creative, emotionally resonant, and extremely intelligent. Pixar was able to get into the mind of a little kid with such sheer inventiveness and creativity, I have no idea how they pulled it off so well, but believe me they did it, and did it very well.

the characters are what holds this movie together because they're the emotions of this little girl, Riley and I absolutely loved every single one of them. and the voice acting couldn't have been more perfect or perfectly casted.

Amy Poehler was the perfect choice for Joy and Phyllis Smith as Sadness is probably one of the greatest choices for a character in forever. her voice perfectly suited Sadness and I don't think anybody could have done it better.

there's such a magical sense of love, acceptance, wonder, emotion and creativity brimming in every minute of Inside Out. it's an energetic, colorful, and an absolutely gorgeously animated movie.

you're kid will no doubt love it, but I bet the parents will walk away loving it and appreciating it more than their kids will. it's also heartwrenchingly sad at times, and the character of Bing Bong is so fully realized and created you'll love him as much as you do the other characters.

you'll laugh, you'll cry, you'll cheer and you'll absolutely fall in love with one of Pixar's greatest films to date, Inside Out.
