Strange claustrophobic movie: all at once hysterically funny and pathetically sad lurching from misfortune to misfortune and altogether a less than satisfying amalgam of unrequited dreams. Vague references to suicidal tendencies throughout.
this is an artful comic tragedy if you can pardon the oxymoron. It has it all but also nothing with characters drifting in and out all with their own tragic foibles.. A bit like life, really.
