Review of Inherit the Wind (1960) by Jj G — 22 Feb 2007
Overrated but undeniably interesting courtroom drama portrays its villains - i.e., Christians - in an overblown, often one-dimensional way. Even Frederich March's character comes across as a closed-minded, loony boor despite a few efforts to humanize him - and March's wonderful performance, which is matched by Grace Kelly and surpassed by Spencer Tracy, who gives one of his top performances.
