Review of Inherit the Wind (1960) by Dustin G — 31 Oct 2007
Aside from the overwhelmingly good performances, this movie says alot about respecting our fellow man's religious beliefs, whatever they may be. You shouldn't force everyone to feel the way you feel and worship the god you worship.
God isn't forcing every human being to live as a Christian, that's why we have free choice to live as we like, so why should force those beliefs on each other? One of the best lines in this movie is when the school teacher says, "religion's suppose to comfort people, not frighten them to death!".
