Review of Inherit the Wind (1960) by Jason M — 01 Jul 2008
Brillinat!
I am not a fan of films entirely set a round a court case but this is the best of them all only slightly being beaten by 'To Kill A Mockingbrid' (which is not just entirely about the case and I haven't seen 'Twelve Angry Men').
Spencer Tracy excels in a rivetting performance defending a man who only taught 'evolution'. I still find it hard to belive that even tho it dramatised for cinema this still really happened.
Overall I recommend this to all.
