Review of Infernal Affairs II (2003) by Sue W — 14 Feb 2010
I mainly saw this because the 1st film in the trilogy was amazing so I had to see what this was like. Its good, but its a bit confusing there's alot more going on in this film, I think too much was crammed into one film.
The back story is interesting to know, but some of it was just not needed. Eric Tsang is amazing as the Gang boss with a heart quite different from his character in the 1st film. Edison Chen provides some nice eye candy for this film and really does make you think of a young Andy Lau, nice casting.
I did enjoy this film, but the 1st is always the best.
