Clever plot points that weave into so many tangles that you just know it ain't gunna have a happy ending. Thoroughly enjoyable, great action & a strong cast. Leung, Lau & Chausang are brill! Avoid rip-off American remake at all costs.
If you have seen The Departed & wish to witness the original it stole from (& I'm unlikely to ever forgive Scorsese for this), then do so, even if it's just as penance!
