Review of Infernal Affairs (2002) by Kiyomi F — 20 Aug 2010
Watched this goldie oldie again after a big pause. It still beats Scorcese's remake hands down, but it's strength definitely lies in it's non-typical ending and as a surprise, trilogical story arc works pretty well even though it wasn't planned like that.
It has some typical Hong Kong cinema quirks with the editing and music, but nothing major :).
