Review of Infernal Affairs (2002) by Adriano B — 15 Oct 2011
The original flick from which The Departed was inspired mostly laid out all the ground where its successor build up, both in style and themes (Scorsese remake has a lot of merits of its own, thought). One difference tells everything about USA and Asian flicks souls: the corrupt policeman there was the cancer to eradicate, here is a conflictual man who made a pact with the devil, but aspire to normality - and in the end, the"cancer" coul be redeemed in society.
