Incredibles 2 is an extension piece to the already amazing original film, The Incredibles. I'd give the acting 12/15 points. The kid actors are pretty good and so are the original actors, but the people who play Dash and Violet aren't the best. They sometimes don't seem like they are in a movie and trying, but it is hardly noticeable. The characters seem to have changed their voices a bit. Evelyn Dever is also the acting problem, as sometimes she doesn't sound interested in the movie. Craig T. Nelson, Samuel L. Jackson, and Holly Hunter are once again great. I'd give the story 11/15 points. The story is amazing, don't get me wrong, but there is a twist villain. The twist villain trope is played often in film these days, and since it is used so much, I will take off 5 points for it. Everything else is great. We see the movie continue and add on to the first film. That is a big feat in film, as we rarely see it. I'd also like to say that the villain does what Dr. Doom did to Mr. Fantastic with the cold to Elastigirl. I'd give the animation 10/10 points. The animation is gorgeous. It is the best I've seen from a computer animated film this year. I'd give the characters 9/10 points. The characters are mostly well done. Some characters are wasted throughout the film, but it's okay. Edna is still the best character. Jack Jack is pretty meh though. He has too much plot convenience, but it's okay. I'd give the Development 3/5 points. There is a character who appears for a bit and is pushed to the side. He's done for the film. We see new developments on Jack Jack, but there isn't much actually. There is a villain defeated, and change in a law, new heroes, and that's it. It's still decent for what it did with the characters. I'd give the original music score 4/5 points. The score is great, but it is mostly wasted. You can't hear it much throughout the film, as there is always something covering it, like talking and sound effects. I'd give the direction 10/10 points. It's directed well. There's presence of someone being thinking smartly about the decisions made. I'd give the vision and sound quality 8/10 points. There are strobe lights, which makes it to where you shouldn't see the film in Dolby Vision or Dolby Cinema. Overall, you can see this film on any screen except the ones I said and you'd be good and get a good experience. Overall, I'd give this film 18 out of 20 points. It;s well done, there are enough jokes, and it's entertaining.
