I saw the first one when it was fresh, but I don't remember or felt much for the whole deal. This is a very much wanted second and a big Disney project. It's rather typical for followers - the same deal with a smart twist and things added.
We get introduced to the family so we remeber them a bit from the last time and we are thrown into the story. For me the story is not that great. OK, it works but it's not spectacular.
It looks very good and it has loads of entertainment value. Not too much action - a good thing so the story can build more. The story grows on me, but it's rather easy to predict at times - standard Disney, you know. Some laughs, but mostly mediocre at that part.
A pretty good film that does what it should, without being super fresh or amazing. It won't be remembered for too long - like the first one.
