Review of In the Realm of the Senses (1976) by Eric F — 15 May 2009
This movie is controversial for it's endless pornographic sex scenes, and hailed by many as a beautiful masterpiece because it has a story. Hm, a porno + story = masterpiece. Okay. The problem for me was that there wasn't a whole lot of story.
I question whether people would even talk about this movie 30 years after its release if all the sex scenes were simulated instead of real. Pass. This isn't even good bachelor party material.
