Review of In the Name of the Father (1993) by Gabe A — 13 Oct 2008
Wrenching, ridiculously well acted and utterly compelling from start to finish. I white-knuckled it just from the performances alone. Pre-viewing caveat: You will hate your government after watching it even more than you already did.
And Plainsview, while a towering character, has nothing on Day Lewis' sensitive and fierce portrayal of Conlon.
