Review of In the Name of the Father (1993) by I'M The Token Liberal. — 08 Aug 2008
It's kinda funny how I found out this; Sunday noon over the couch dozing off, and I woke up to Sinead O'Conner's "Thief of Your Heart", playing in its credits. Had no idea what movie it was so I tracked it from the song, lol.
Love the song ever since, and Love the movie as well (when I finally managed to catch it lol). The accents were tight, the politics real, the disco outfits.... well. Great cast, with Emma Thomson and a standing ovation to the magnificent acting by D-Day Lewis and Postlethwaite, goddamn they're good and this movie wouldn't exist without them!
