Review of In the Mood for Love (2000) by Grace A — 21 Jul 2009
Don't watch this movie after less than 3 hours sleep the night before. I had a vague memory of Dan's review, and found it to have music and images that were wonderful. Sometimes one might think the actors aren't really acting, as all they need to do is hold a facial position, or move a thumb.
The rest of what's happening to me makes the action mean something. OK, so I fell asleep. Will try it later in the week. We had a bodacious thunderstorm while watching it. Seemed appropriate. I was in the mood the movie strove for, after seeing just part of the film.
